Wammie Week Business for the Artist Series - 2 Day Workshop

Wammie Week Business for the Artist Series

Presented by The MusicianShip and The 36th Annual Wammie Music Awards

Hello MusicianShip Family!

Ahead of the 36th Annual Wammie Awards, Wammie Week is back!  It will consist of a free, two-part/two-day "Business for the Artist" Workshop Series.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from seven music industry professionals with varied artistic and business backgrounds.  This workshop is designed to give aspiring, emerging and seasoned artists and producers insight into music industry best practices, a perspective that many artists struggle with in an ever-evolving, post-pandemic music landscape (i.e. monetizing, licensing, contracting, branding, networking, distribution, etc.).

During the course of the two sessions, we will provide useful, digestible and actionable best practices and resources that you can walk away with.  Each day will have different facilitators and discussions.  As our thank you for your focus, participation and commitment to enriching the DMV artistic community, you will have an opportunity to have your headshot taken by a professional photographer...it's free!

To learn more about our guest artists, check out their bios here!

Spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis.  There are 16 slots for adult (18+) artists and 16 slots for youth (14-17) artists.  Youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver.
